Are there membership fees?


There is no membership fee for those who wish to purchase products through the Cherokee on-line locally grown market. You only pay for what you have ordered.

Will I have to buy vegetables I don't want?


Unlike some co-ops, buying clubs, or CSAs where everyone gets the same box of stuff (and you don’t know what you’re getting until you get it), with Locally Grown you get to order what you want, in the quantities that you want, from the farms that you want. The ordering period email lists the items available that week, and you can browse the items on this website before you place your order.

How do I order?


Orders can be placed here on our website. Ordering dates are listed at the top of the “market” tab on this site. Ordering through this web site is our preferred method as it is designed to reduce the amount of time it takes us to process orders as well as provide you with detailed information about our products. However, should you miss a delivery period or forget to add an item to your order, please feel free to contact the market managers to see if other arrangements can be made to bring your items to delivery. When do I pay?


We accept cash, checks, money orders, or major credit/debit cards when you pick up your order. All checks/ money orders will be made payable to Foundations Farm. Because we may have to adjust your total then (to account for unannounced items you decide to purchase or items that were unexpectedly unavailable), we do not accept advance payment on the website.

When and Where do I pick up my order?


Our growers and producers will deliver to the drop off location on the east side of the armory in Cherokee, OK (corner of Kansas and Second) on the 3rd Thursday of each month. Please pick up your order between 4:45 and 5:15 p.m. Should you need to make other arrangements, please try to do so before the market delivery time. We will try to accommodate the needs of our customers as much as possible.

How can I sell through this market?


If you’ve already created a customer account here, simply go to Our Growers and click on ‘Join this Market’. This will add you to our system and our market managers will contact you with the next step. We do charge a one-time-only fee of $40 if you do not have references within our group of growers. We also charge 10% of your overall sales (deducted from your sales each month) for maintaining the website, advertising, and office fees.
